The EU project ‘FIBRALSPEC‘ will come to an end in 2017 after four years of successful research cooperation. We would therefore like to invite you to the presentation of the final results of our research work. We will organize a one day workshop and a conference. Welcome to join us at our event.
Registration to attend the event is now OPEN – please register below, using registration form.
Limited Places available! Act NOW to avoid disappointment.
Participation at the FIBRALSPEC event is FREE of charge as this event is Co-financed by the European Commission.
The cost of transportation and accommodation is to be paid by each participant. The European Commission does NOT cover costs of transportation and accommodation.
To create an event to discuss the latest developments on carbon fiber,
To give you the opportunity to discuss and present your last findings on Carbon Fiber area. If you are interested to present your work, please send an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
To present you the latest findings and results of FIBRALSPEC project by project partners,
To present you the latest tools and methodologies developed within the project,
To discuss together with you the future directions for carbon fibers new precursors and optimization of processes – let’s make the future together!
What are the benefits of joining us at the FIBRALSPEC CONFERENCE?
You will have the opportunity to learn from the top experts on the field of carbon fiber,
You will have the access to the latest carbon fiber knowledge and development,
You will have the opportunity to discuss your ideas with researchers,
You will have the opportunity to effect on the future directions of the carbon fiber development and research.
The FIBRALSPEC conference is a 1 day meeting dedicated to the topic of carbon fibers
After more than five (5) decades of research, carbon fibers and their composites have reached maturity and they are not a “high-end” costly solution for low rate production.
A growing industry with a multitude of applications has been established and the need on new precursors which are not derived from petroleum has been revealed.
In near future, European Union’s (EU) states need also to be independent of current supply chain on the availability of carbon fibers in the future.
“The project builds upon the gained experience and will result in upcoming breakthrough innovations, through challenges and goal achievements”, project coordinator Prof Costas A. Charitidis says.
“This project is a partnership between eleven partners, where all closely cooperate with industry to achieve technical solutions which can be sustained in the long term.”
FIBRALSPEC focuses on conducting innovative processes with streamlining and improved control through a Unit for Continuous PAN-based Carbon Fiber Pilot Production towards Sustainable Carbon Fiber field using Novel Precursors by addressing the deployment of new technologies and best practices.
The FIBRALSPEC initiative addresses new technologies, which have a clear market potential and a strong impact and as such promotes EU wide cooperation.
