Description of the organisation

OSM is an independent project management firm (SME) administering all peripheral aspects of research projects. The company’s activities are focused on surveys and statistical analysis, applications of management Science methods and Impact assessment. Indicatively the company professionals have expertise in Project, Risk, Ethics and Knowledge management, market trend analysis, feasibility studies, Impact assessment and Technology Transfer. OSM’s interdisciplinary team is capable to address a variety of tasks pertinent and supportive to research projects, crucial for their market applicability and sustainability.

The company employs a team involving scientists from the financial and economic discipline, management science, engineering and statistics, while is co-operating with faculty members of European Universities and Research Institutes employing ad hoc experts to be involved in particular projects.



OSM’s Ltd primary task is to dissiminate the FIBRALSPEC project message to international experts and encourage them to apply project results to their work and explore the new markets. This task will undertake the organisation of a FIBRALSPEC workshop dedicated to the standardization of reference materials within the FIBRALSPEC project.

A dedicated Workshop on standardization named “Fibralstand” will be organized to attract a broad panel of international experts and a broad international audience. Several standardization “levels“ of increasing complexity exist that contribute to the testing and traceability of any final composite product.

Also OSM will utilise the software that is developing to implement LCA for the final components in conjunction with cost benefit analysis.

<b>Mr Emmanuel Sofianopoulos</b>
Mr Emmanuel SofianopoulosResearcher

Mr Emmanuel Sofianopoulos (BEng in Materials Technology, Mphil in Advanced Ceramics, PMP®) is a certified PM participating as researcher or managing EU projects since 1998. He has expertise in Technology transfer being the head of the Materials Thematic Group in the IRC network between 1998 and 2000 participating in many TT success stories. He is also an Exploitation Expert in the ESIC2 group.

Dr Giovanni D’Orio Researcher

Dr Giovanni D’Orio (MSc, PhD in macroeconomics) as an expert in sustainable development International projects will head the formation of the feasibility studies and the exploitation plan.

<b>Mr Christian Clauwers</b>
Mr Christian ClauwersResearcher

Mr Christian Clauwers with a Bachelor degree in Communication Science, a Master degree in Comparative and European Politics and a Master degree of Global Management at the Antwerp Management School, will be responsible for risk management and dissemination activities.
